Cautions for Solenoid Valves

Jul. 13, 2020

-The solenoid valve contains a liquid under pressure. Improper use may cause danger and damage to people and objects. This product is not a safety device and should not be used as the only device to prevent the overpressure of certain parts of the device or the containment of dangerous liquids.

-Before installation, start-up, and maintenance, please read the manufacturer's instructions carefully.

Before installation, start-up and maintenance, check the operating conditions on the product label and technical documents (pressure, temperature, fluid, power supply).

-Follow the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body: for two-way valves, the flow is from port 1 and for three-way valves, from port 2. Valves with arrows printed on the valve body can only work in this direction.

-Before opening or removing the valve, make sure that there is no pressure in the pipeline or inside the valve.

-Only use original spare parts provided by the manufacturer.

-Do not exceed the pressure, temperature, and voltage limits given by the manufacturer and shown on the product label and technical documentation.

-Do not remove the label from the valve or coil.

Solenoid Valve

-Before installing and starting, check the compatibility between the fluid and the valve material. If in doubt, please contact the manufacturer.

-Be sure to ground the coil ground terminal. Do not use pipes to transport liquids to grounded electrical equipment.

-In the case of invisibility, the valve can only be supported by the connection provided. The pipeline must not transmit static load or vibration to the valve. Do not use the valve as a support for other equipment or accessories.

-Do not modify the fixing holes (if provided) or any other parts on the valve body.

When tightening or unscrewing the valve, it must be fixed or rotated only by the hexagon on the frame assembly. The use of other components such as coils, armatures, or valve covers may cause irreparable damage to the valve.

-During the assembly stage, care should be taken to prevent foreign objects (dust or material fragments) from entering the valve. In devices where various impurities or deposits may penetrate into the fluid, it is recommended to install a suitable filter.

-Use proper sealing material on the valve thread. In devices that use liquid cement, it is important to prevent them from entering the valve and preventing movement.

-Do not close the hole of the pilot-operated solenoid valve circuit.

-The coil should not be energized when installed on the valve or without the armature assembly, as this may cause the coil to burn out or break.
